PU2F3 and magic

Here's what happened when you put PU2F3(my class) with a camera and a magic trick. It got so funny with all the weird acting and reactions, that things got out of hand pretty quickly. Then Pn. Woon came. lol

birthday in school

Yay, I celebrated my birthday in school today during recess with my school mates. They gave me a SHIT(more on that later) and a nice white polo T(which is what I'm wearing in the pics below). When you have a bunch of teenagers and a shit-doll, hilarity ensued. We would play with the shit during classes as well as after classes. It was even better when the teacher's not around and we get to play around and pose with the shit.

It was an eventful day too. Got to know my MUET Speaking Trials result(Band 6, woo..) and then at the end of school, I also found out that EVERYONE who parked their car along the small road by the police station(STK students would know what I'm talking about) got a summon slip from the police :p I didn't get one because I parked right in front of the police station and everyone who parked by the small road got a little white slip.

The school will have to settle this for the students or else "Somebody gonna get the hurt..."

Anyway, here are some pics of my birthday swag from my school mates:

I present to you.....THE SHIT:

being all that I can be

I work really hard to juggle 3 president-ship at one time. It's not an easy task but I'm doing my best here. A few of us were out last night for supper and someone said that it was a joke(about me being a president of MPPPU) and no, I don't take such comments lightly considering how much effort I have put into it. In fact, I am so confident about myself and the work that I have done, that I don't think anyone else could have done a better job than me.

Arrogant? Maybe. Confident of my own abilities? You bet.

I can lead a horse to water; heck, I can bring the lake to the horse if you so fancy it but there's no way I can force the horse to drink from it. If the horse still refuses to drink from it, I can't take the water away and let it die of thirst. I would have to untie the horse and let it run back to wilderness. That or I can lie and trick the horse into thinking that water is the best thing since sliced bread, still what's the point?

Who am I proving myself to?
No one. If there is, the future, perhaps.

Who do I answer to?
God. If there is something wrong that I have done during my term, let He smite me if He so wishes.

Why all the trouble?
I do what is expected of me. Sometimes, a bit too much. Sometimes, too little. But at least I know I'm being all that I can be.

tread softly

He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

- William Butler Yeats, 1899.

What a great way to celebrate the 100th post of this blog... I first heard about this poem while I was watching 'Equilibrium' (some kickass show with great gun-tana fighting) a year or two ago. I really liked it but never thought about searching for it. After watching the film again, I went on and googled some lines of the poem and found it.

What a beautiful piece.
