now showing

I like movies. And I like them a whole lot more when I get to watch it in a cinema with a sounds blasting in your face in front of a big widescreen.... screen. The atmosphere, air-cond chill as well as that annoying punk sitting next to you who can't stop talking with his palz from da' hoodz, just make the whole experience DIFFERENT from watching it at home.

I never knew that I like going to cinema so much. My hometown never had one for a long time(closed down ages ago) and to be honest, I really didn't care when they said that they will be opening a cinema here a couple of months ago. I thought, "Meh... they're gonna go bust." Boy, am I wrong. So far, I have watched roughly 7-8 movies from MBO and I think they are all pretty kicking rad. Let's see, there is Ghost Rider, 300, Shooter, Spider-man 3, 28 Weeks Later, Pirates of the Carribean 3, etc... Just recently, by recently I mean JUST NOW, I watched a really cool movie: Ocean's Thirteen. Since I watch too much movie at the cinema, I thought why not put up recommendations here? You know... so that I don't have nothing to say ;)

My recommendation this time is Ocean's Thirteen. For those who didn't know who Danny Ocean is, I would suggest that you go and watch Ocean's 11 and 12 before watching it one because you may not 'get' some of the characters in this show like Terry Benedict and Toulor/Nightfox. If you have no idea who they are but are gonna watch it for the George Clooney/Brad Pitt/Matt Damon-awesomeness, then I guess you will be well pleased to see how an all-star cast of 'thieves' will try their best to beat the 'House', that is the term for Casino.

Things may seem a little bit too elaborate. Almost as wild as the 'lifting off the building' part in Ocean's 12 but nevermind. I won't spoil the movie much but if you really want to watch a movie about a bunch of excellent con-men trying to outplay the House, you should watch this.

For fans of Ocean's 11 and were disappointed by Ocean's 12 (hey, I didn't 12 was that bad) I really don't think you will be disappointed with this one. You get to see how Ocean's 'gang' gel with each other even more. MUCH more than in the previous movies. Plus, Linus(Matt Damon) plays a bigger role this time in their scam.

I'm not going to give ratings or anything. It's just too cheesy. Overall, I think it's worth the RM8 spent on the ticket and that 2 hours of my life sitting in front of a screen.
